‘It will be a busy summer’ – Cech confirms ‘massive’ Chelsea transfer plans
Petr Cech, a Chelsea Legend, has said that he is working around the clock to guarantee that the club’s transfer ambitions are met this summer.
However, Cech has acknowledged that he lives on his phone as he and the club’s leadership prepare for a ‘full summer’ at Stamford Bridge, and that he wants to make the squad ‘as strong as possible’ this summer, ahead of a difficult season.
The former Chelsea legend who’s now serving as the club’s technical director said: “I live on the phone! It will be a busy summer. We will plan, prepare and try to be as strong as we can next season.
“I think everybody knows where we are in terms of the team. Of course we will try to strengthen the team.
“We want to do the best possible and be ready to compete next season. It’s going to be a tough season with a World Cup in-between so we need to be ready for that.”
