Italian confirms Chelsea to hold another talks over possible €65 million signing in coming days
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea and PSG will continue their discussions about Presnel Kimpembe in the upcoming days.
However, Todd Boehly understood that in order to retain the supporters on his side and close the gap with Man City and Liverpool, he would need to make some significant financial commitments. Therefore, a big player had to be recruited.
Meanwhile, Raheem Sterling was the first player the American signed, and Kalidou Koulibaly is the second player to join the club after it took Chelsea some time to complete their transfer transaction.
Romano has stated that the Blues would continue discussions with regard to a prospective trade for Kimpembe, thus it appears that Thomas Tuchel is still highly interested in trying to clinch a transfer deal for one of his former players.
Romano told GIVEMESPORT: “Their conditions, so €65 million and not the €50 million as Chelsea wants. So it’s the organisation to be discussed in the coming days.
“But now the priority for Chelsea’s centerback over wingers.”
