Italian opens door to Chelsea move, Tuchel ready to do summer swap deal, as Blues ready to sell world class duo

Chelsea are interested in a swap deal with Juventus for Alex Sandro, with Emerson Palmieri going the other way.

Emerson has been given enough chances to shine in that shirt since his move to the club just a few seasons go, but despite a few impressive performances, the left-back has never really made the impact that many had hoped for.

And ahead of the opening of the January window, there has was alot of transfer speculation in the media that he will finally depart the club and possibly head back to Italian football, if we got the right kind of offer for him.

However, that did not happen as the defender was kept at the Bridge, where he has been pretty decent under Thomas Tuchel over the past few months, with reports that he is now happy at the club.

But football is a cruel game sometimes as there is still alot of rumours in the media that he is a player that the club would not mind letting leave in the transfer window, in order to generate some funds and free up some space in the squad.

Now Italian publication Calciomercato has claimed the club are open to a swap deal with Juventus involving Alex Sandro and Emerson Palmieri

Juventus have been admiring Palmieri for some time now and are understood to be ready to offer him a move back to Italian football knowing that he would very much be interested.

And to save funds, we may try and get Sandro in return, having been fans of the left-back for some time now and looking to strengthen that area of the pitch.

There will be alot of rumours between now and the summer, but if Palmieri is open to the idea of leaving the club and Sandro is open to coming to England, it could be a very smart move from the club to make guys.

Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech could be set for some summer exits from Chelsea at the end of the season, according to the latest reports.

Werner and Ziyech were two big signings for the club last season when Frank Lampard was handed over £200 million to spend on new players, but despite all the hype and excitement around their arrivals, they have now shone like many had hoped.

Werner is in a race against time to show his worth to manager Thomas Tuchel, who is set to finalise his summer transfer plans in the coming days, according to the Evening Standard.

Tuchel is reportedly keen on both Sergio Aguero and Erling Haaland, which leaves the misfiring Werner with an uncertain future.

The £45million signing from RB Leipzig has managed just two goals in his last 29 appearances, and while we are not actively looking to sell him, Werner could be allowed to leave if funds are required for Tuchel’s targets.

And Spanish publication AS have claimed that Ziyech could also be a player that is allowed to leave the club at the end of the season.

The club are eager to generate funds for further additions through summer sales, with Tammy Abraham and Tiemoue Bakayoko among the others that could be offloaded.

Look, both players are getting big money to do a good job for the club , and they are simply not doing that, so if Tuchel believes that he can take the club forward without these two in the squad next season, they he is rightfully considering letting the pair go.

Sassuolo star Manuel Locatelli has had a transfer to Chelsea mooted, and the 23-year-old admits that a move away from his native Italy is “an option” for him to explore in upcoming windows.

His combative qualities in a holding role and ability to push on into the final third when required have led to admiring glances being shot in his direction from across Europe, including us.

Despite the fine job that Thomas Tuchel has done as boss of the Blues, he is still expected to delve into that transfer kitty of his in the summer and try to add a few players to the squad that will give his squad something different.

Now amid all the speculation surrounding his future, Locatelli has admitted that leaving Italy is an option, Quizzed on his future by Corriere dello Sport, Locatelli said: “I don’t know if this will be my last year here or what the future holds for me. When, and if, there are opportunities, we will evaluate them all together.”

He added on the potential of seeking out a new challenge outside of Serie A: “Playing abroad is an option for me and at the moment I’m not excluding anything. It’s part of my job and it means that I have raised my level.

“Certain certificates of esteem and interest from big clubs increase my motivations and make me understand I’m on the right track.”

The lad is very talented and definitely one for the future, but we firmly believe that a move to the Premier League is not the right one to make and he needs a few more years of development to be really ready for a move?
