“It’s between them, I can’t see Chelsea winning it” – Paul Scholes reveals the two clubs to fight for the title race
Following the title challenge this season, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has ruled Chelsea out of the Premier League title race despite our good start to the season.
However, Scholes believes that Liverpool and Manchester City are the only two teams that can win the Premier League title this season.
Chelsea top the Premier League after seven games with Liverpool and Manchester City second and third respectively.
“I think it’s between Liverpool and Manchester City, I do think there is three great teams [including Chelsea]. I think United have not fallen away, but it’s very early,” Scholes said on Sky Sports’ Overlap forum.
“I just think City and Liverpool, watching that game [between the two sides] the quality was just so high, I just can’t see any other team getting close to them.”
Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea will definitely shock a lot of people at the end of the season just as we did last season when we won the Champions League.
