Jose Mourinho wants Chelsea player in January as World Cup winner considering Chelsea move 

Italian media reports claim that Jose Mourinho, the manager of Roma, plans to sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah during the January transfer period.

During the summer transfer window, there were rumors that the 23-year-old would leave the club, but Chelsea rejected the move since there weren’t enough players available.

Chalobah has had trouble getting into the lineup this year, making just one appearance in a 2-1 victory over Leicester City.

If the young defender works out for Graham Potter’s intentions remains to be seen.

Prior to the World Cup in Qatar, Roma is reportedly keeping an eye on his position.

However, According to reports, Jose Mourinho’s side could make a swoop if Chalobah does not get regular playing time between now and November.

Meanwhile, Chalobah is said to be excited about a possible link up with the legendary Jose Mourinho, who has also improved Tammy Abraham.

World Cup winner considering Chelsea move 

Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard was linked with a move to the Premier League during the summer transfer window, with Chelsea and Manchester United rumoured to be interested in the France international.

Pavard who is remembered for his goal for France in the 2018 World Cup Round of 16 clash against Argentina, has revealed that he was convinced to remain at Bayern by Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann.

The World Cup winning defender also admitted that he may consider a move to the Premier League in the near future.

“I questioned myself, I had calls from different clubs with my agent. Afterwards, I had the Bayern coach with whom we spoke and with whom we have a good relationship,” said Pavard.

“He made me understand that I was in his plans, that I was important for the team. Maybe one day I will go to one of these clubs, you never know what the future holds.

“I’m still at Bayern Munich. Afterwards, we have time to project ourselves.”
