Journalist reveals Chelsea are confident as Blues close to secure £35m deal
According to recent reports, Chelsea are close to completing a deal to sign Manchester City sensation Raheem Sterling.
Blues manager Thomas Tuchel is a great fan of the 27-year-old, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

“Update: @ChelseaFC are now optimistic in closing the #Sterling trade from @ManCity,” he tweeted. The transfer fee might be in the region of £35 million.”
Sterling was dropped from Man City’s starting lineup in the 2021/22 season, with Pep Guardiola opting for other options.
With City’s offense being bolstered, Sterling’s position at the club next season is in jeopardy.
Last season, the 27-year-old winger started just 32 games across all competitions, scoring 17 goals and adding nine assists.
Chelsea has yet to make a choice on Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, or Timo Werner.
Last season, Pulisic, Ziyech, and Werner all had limited responsibilities at the club, and the trio appeared to be in and out of the lineup.
Chelsea are rumored to be interested in selling Romelu Lukaku this summer.
Inter Milan and Chelsea are in talks for Lukaku, and a deal is anticipated to be reached soon.
