JUST IN: £100million Blues target rejects club’s new contract as he wants Chelsea move
According to Metro via Football London, Declan Rice has rejected a new deal at West Ham because he is frustrated with the club’s £100million asking price.
The Blues were heavily linked with a move for the England international but didn’t submit an official bid for the midfielder due to West Ham’s valuation of Rice.
Rice is reportedly keen on joining Chelsea as he wants to play Champions League football and challenge for trophies and he feels as though he’s being priced out of a move away from the club as the Hammers have slapped a huge price tag on him.
Despite his desire to leave West Ham, Rice isn’t pushing for an immediate exit from West Ham.
