Just in: Chelsea told to pay €40million for France International midfielder
According to latest reports from Calcio Mercato via Goal, Monaco have set a price tag of €40 million (£34m/$47m) asking price for Chelsea linked midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni.
However, The Blues see the 21 year old France international as a long-term replacement for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
Juventus are also keen on the 21-year-old, who is under contract at Stade Louis II until 2024.
Tchouameni predominantly operates as a defensive midfielder and is renowned for his ball-winning abilities, similarly to N’Golo Kante.
Tchouameni has scored once in nine Ligue 1 games for Monaco so far this term, and received a call up to the latest France squad.
