Just in: Club director confirms player could join Chelsea this week if they receive right offer
According to latest reports, Sevilla sporting director Monchi has revealed they are ready to sell Chelsea transfer target Jules Kounde if they receive the right offer.
Kounde has impressed for the LaLiga side in recent seasons and the 22 year old French defender is reportedly Chelsea’s number one defensive target.
Kounde has a £68million release clause in his Sevilla contract but the La Liga side are reportedly willing to accept £50million.
“Many clubs have asked for Kounde,” Monchi said. “Of course there’s interest but no official bid is on the table.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen… we will sell if an important bid arrives, this is our policy to improve the team.”
