JUST IN: Player snubs club training as he wants Chelsea move before deadline
The hours are running out for Chelsea as they attempt to complete two or three major moves today before the transfer deadline.
It is obvious that Thomas Tuchel is eager to get a few more through the door as they have until 11pm. this tonight to complete those agreements and sign them in order to register any new signings before the window closes.
There is a lot of work to be done because many of these deals seem to be dependant on other prospective outgoings and, of course, whether or not the teams are actually prepared to sell.
However, a midfielder appears to now be a priority for Chelsea now this late in the window, with a few names linked recently. One of which of course is Ajax’s Edson Alavarez.
And apparently, he has not turned up for training today as he attempts to push through a late move to Chelsea. Certainly wouldn’t rule this out now!
