Juventus ready to make double swoop for Chelsea out-of-favour duo

Juventus are ready to launch a move for Chelsea duo Emerson Palmieri and Olivier Giroud in the January transfer window, reports in Italy say.

Manager Andrea Pirlo is looking to bring in reinforcements to help turn his first campaign as a manager around, having watched his side slip to fourth in the table in recent weeks.

According to a report from Il Bianco Nero, Andrea wants to bring in Emerson and Giroud to help kick-start his campaign while he’s also eyeing up moves for Sassuolo ace Manuel Locatelli and Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul.

Giroud has been linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge for the last year as the Frenchman continues to search for more senior team minutes in order to secure his spot in his country’s Euro 2020 squad.

He has grown frustrated at the lack of chances he has been given with the Blues and will consider his options in January.

Antonio Conte is looking to rescue Olivier from his Chelsea nightmare and bring the player to Inter Milan, while Tottenham and West Ham United have also registered interest in the 34-year-old.
