Klopp tells Chelsea £68 million star ‘is good, really good’ – will be a good signing for Tuchel?

According to latest reports, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has had his say on Chelsea target Darwin Nunez – amid all the speculation that Chelsea are keen on a transfer deal, but would he be a good signing for the Blues?

Chelsea made the big decision last summer window to bring back Lukaku to the club in a deal worth £98 million as Thomas Tuchel wanted to sign a proven top-class forward

Lukaku become the most deadly striker in Italian football and many fans were hoping that his arrival would bring goals, and along with that, more trophies to add to the cabinet.

However, that has not been the case and Lukaku has looked nothing like the man that dominated Serie A last season, and has even admitted that he simply cannot adapt to the style of play of Tuchel

And of course that has led to all sorts of speculation in the media that Chelsea would be very open to letting him leave the club and use the funds to sign Erling Haaland or Darwin Nunez

Nunez is a player that is hot right now as his 31-goals in all competitions for Benfica this season has caught the attentions of all the big clubs, especially as they could get him for a fee of around £68 million

Following the speculation, Klopp recently had his say on the forward, saying: “He played in front of me battling against Konate. He was calm for the finish. He is good, really good. If he stays healthy, he has a big career ahead of him.”
