La Iiga star agrees Chelsea move, as Blues to make first offer to sign 35-goal Bundesliga attacker

Latest Chelsea transfer news on board!

According to reports, Jules Kounde of Sevilla is reportedly close to signing for Chelsea after accepting personal terms.

Kounde has played a key role for Sevilla this season, starting 31 La Liga games and five Champions League games to help them finish in the top four.

He is regarded as one of the best young center defenders in the game right now, and Thomas Tuchel is said to believe he is the best candidate to replace Antonio Rudiger.

He is quick and agile with the ball in his hands, but at 5’11”, the young international is neither tall nor broad for a central defense, which could pose him problems in the Premier League.

Now, according to trade guru Andreas Korssund, the player has accepted personal terms with Chelsea, who are willing to pay Sevilla’s £59 million asking price.

Korssung was quoted: “Jules Kounde is closing in on a move to Chelsea.

“The Blues will conclude talks with Sevilla as soon as Boehly’s takeover is complete and they are ready to pay the required fee.

“Personal terms have already been agreed and the Frenchman is only waiting for Chelsea.”

Chelsea to offer Lewandowski

Following Thomas Tuchel’s major transfer hint, it has been suggested that Chelsea will compete with Barcelona for the signing of Robert Lewandowski.

The goal-scoring powerhouse from Poland has a year left on his Bayern Munich contract, but he appeared to say his goodbyes to fans at the Allianz Arena last week after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract.

The former Dortmund star is apparently interested in joining Barcelona, but it is unclear whether the Catalans can afford his £600,000-a-week pay, especially given their financial difficulties.

According to reports, Chelsea are ready to rush in and make a bid to bring the player to the Premier League, as Tuchel understands he needs to close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool with big-name players.

According to The Guardian, the new Chelsea board is considering disputing his signature.

Tuchel feels that the side’s lack of goals has cost them dearly this season and has hinted that adding a new striker to the attack his on his mind: ‘If we stick to the group then we will try to solve it with these players,’ said Tuchel

‘Is it necessary to bring more offensive players around the box to create more distractions, to create more space for each other? We will ask that question. Can we do better in the structure? Can we push the players more? Did we rotate too much? Let’s see.

‘There are a lot of options. The numbers we produce from our offensive players don’t allow us to overperform and we need overperformance if we want to be nearer to the top two teams.

‘I am not pointing fingers, I am not blaming anybody, but we need overperformance from everybody. It’s not overperformance if we have only single figures in scoring and assisting.’
