Lampard chose his preferred striker between Giroud & Tammy Abraham ahead of Watford clash…Do you agree?

Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham start ahead of Olivier Giroud against West Ham but seems not quite impressive as the Blues lost the game.

However, Giroud had gotten on the score sheet for the game against Aston Villa and started in the league games against Villa and Manchester City.

Ahead of the West ham game, Lampard admitted that it wasn’t an easy decision to drop Giroud from the starting eleven, and he explained his reason for doing so.

“It’s not an easy call for me (switching strikers). They bring different attributes,” he told Sky Sports before kick-off.

“I thought Tammy did well against Leicester, Oli’s been doing really well for us. I have to make changes in this period, because there’s games every three days and look at the opposition and the rest of our team.

“I hope with Tammy’s mobility and the work-rate he showed against Leicester, if he can re-produce that, he’ll give a lot to us.”

Abraham looked below par against West Ham, and 2020 hasn’t been a good year for the young striker, as it had been marked with injuries and a lack of form. Who do you think Lampard should start against Watford?
