Lampard has been told PSG are willing to sell ’£300,000-a-week’ Chelsea target this summer

Sky Sports News reporter Bryan Swanson has claimed that PSG would consider selling Chelsea target target Julian Draxler.

Frank Lampard has done some wonderful business this summer and Chelsea will be a threat next season after spending over £200 million on players that will be top Premier League stars in the coming seasons.

However, there are now reports in the media that one of their long-term targets, Draxler could be on the market this transfer window as the French giants would reportedly consider selling the midfielder to get his wages off the bill.

Sky Sports News reporter Bryan Swanson said: “Speaking to a few contacts this afternoon, PSG would consider selling Julian Draxler in this window given his lack of game time last season and his high salary.

“But the latest information that we have is that there haven’t been any formal offers or declarations of interest from any Premier League clubs in relation to Draxler. Clearly, that could well change as we go into the final few weeks of the window.

As we said, Chelsea have pretty much done all their business that they wanted too, But Lampard is still seeking to add another deep lying midfielder to his squad by the end of the transfer market, and could be tempted into making a move to bring Draxler to the side, if the money is right.

However, they do not really need the man and it would be a massive shock to see them actually try and tempt him to the Premier League now, especially with all the talent that Lampard now has at his disposal.

But it will be interesting to see where Draxler moves too if he does leave the club in the coming weeks, as there will be alot of clubs interested to hear that PSG are looking to sell this summer window
