THREE UNDROPPABLE PLAYERS ALONGSIDE KANTE
Currently, N’Golo Kante can be said to be a world-class player. The Frenchman is one of the best defensive midfielders in world football. Thus he is undroppable for Lampard. Kante’s compatriot Kurt Zouma has been in good form this season.
The Frenchman was highly rated by Jose Mourinho. Zouma’s progress stopped due to a long term injury. Now it looks like all that is behind him. He has been a key figure at the back for the Blues. Thiago Silva can’t start every game, thus Zouma is the undroppable player for Lampard.
While in between the posts, Edu Mendy has managed to make Chelsea fans forget Kepa Arrizabalaga. With the Spaniard, Chelsea’s defense often looked vulnerable. With Mendy Chelsea’s goal looks more secure. He is yet to concede a goal in Premier League and Lampard will be hoping it continues that way.
In attack, Timo Werner has seems to have found some consistency. The German displayed ruthless in front of goal in Germany. It is only a matter of time we see that in the Premier League. With Chelsea players now clicking more as a team, more goals will come from Werner.
WHO ARE THE OTHER PLAYERS WHO CAN BE UNDROPPABLE FOR LAMPARD
Ben Chilwell has been very impressive as a left-back. It looks like Chelsea’s search for Ashely Cole’s replacement is finally over. They tried many players such as Marcos Alonso, Baba Rahman, Emerson, etc. But now it looks Chilwell is the answer.
The former Leicester City fullback has settled in very well at Chelsea. He looks at home with the club. He is also a candidate for being undroppable for Lampard. While Chilwell’s fellow summer signing Hakim Ziyech is slowly creating a lot of buzz among supporters.
He has been the leader of the attacking department of Chelsea. The former Ajax star is very versatile and he is scoring and assisting goals as well. Ziyech is now fully fit and he is ready to show why Chelsea signed him this year.
Mason Mount is anyway undroppable for Lampard. It is very much clear that Mount’s manager is very biased towards him. It hardly matters if other players are more deserving or not, Lampard will play Mount at all costs. Though he is a talented player but better players than him are available. However, Lampard is obsessed to improve him at the cost of other players. The likes of Abraham, Hudson Odio, and Kovacic have been the victim of Lampard’s favoritism.
