The Blues boss was taking questions about his new signings, and Kai Havertz in particular came up. Having just recovered from Covid-19, the German international is taking some time to get back into the swing of things.
Lampard has no concerns whatsoever, and he even revealed that Havertz suffered with Covid a little bit more than many of us had realised, pointing towards his recovery from it taking a lot longer to regain his stride on the pitch.
Lampard is confident that Havertz will become one of the best players in the world for club and country.
