Lampard sends ‘incredible’ message to Kai Havertz following his goal against Morecambe
The Blues are into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a massive 4-0 victory over Morecambe, with goals from Havertz, Timo Werner, Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi secured the spot.
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has sent a message to Havertz following his goal against Morecambe.
“I think the level is high. I think there are numerous levels that Kai can go up because of the potential of him as a player. He’s young and been here a short period, it’s unfortunate that he had Covid and suffered a bit coming back from that,” said Lampard.
“Today I saw him and throughout the week in training looking fitter, stronger and there are levels to go up for Kai. We have to remain patient because he’s come here and has a huge amount of talent.
