‘Let him go, he’s far better player than Christensen ’ – Former Chelsea player reveals 19-year-old player as better Christensen replacement
According to latest reports, Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is set for a move to Barcelona next season.
However, The 26-year-old is in the final months of his contract with Chelsea, and reports claim he has already signed a deal with Spanish side Barcelona.
Meanwhile, former Chelsea winger Paul Canoville is happy to miss the Dane, as he believes Chelsea have a by far better replacement in Levi Colwill.
The 19-year-old defender is having a great season on loan with Huddersfield, and is already tipped to be a great player.
Former Premier League star Anton Ferdinand recently spoke highly of the Chelsea youngster, and believes he could be as good as his brother Rio.
For Canoville, Colwill is already better than Christensen.
Canoville wrote on Twitter: “Andreas has been superb for our club Chelsea since coming from the academy and learning [his] trade on loan,”
“[A] European and world champion. Wish him well with Barcelona.
