Lists of Bidders who have been rejected from buying Chelsea by Raine group finally revealed

Chelsea new owner will soon be announced after Raine group latest decision on Chelsea sale.

However, The Raine Group is expected to announce the shortlist of offers which have made it through to the next stage of the bidding process, as Chelsea is set for a new phase of ownership.

Meanwhile, Saudi Media Group’s bid is among those who failed to make it past the first stage.

According to Sky News, Woody Johnson, owner of the New York Jets NFL team, has also been notified that his bid has been unsuccessful, as has Turkish businessman Muhsin Barak.

Aethel Partners, another bidder which had announced its offer publicly, is also not expected to make it to the next phase of the process.

It’s unclear if Nick Candy – the London-based property developer who has recruited a number of prominent financiers to strengthen his offer – would go through to the next phase, and also London based Centricus.

Meanwhile, Todd Boehly’s consortium are confident of being on the final list – believed to consist of either three or four bidders – while the Ricketts family are also expected to make it through despite significant backlash from supporters.

According to Sky News, among the leading contenders to buy Chelsea are consortia led by Todd Boehly, the LA Dodgers part-owner, and Sir Martin Broughton, the former Liverpool and British Airways chairman.
