Marina Granovskaia confident of landing Chelsea’s first January transfer deal

January transfer window is around the corner and Chelsea will be looking forward to add some important players to the squad after some back to back defeats to be able to compete for the title.

However, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia has already decided on the club first January transfer deal as the window nears and she’s certain of bringing in the new player.

Chelsea were the Premier League’s biggest spenders during the summer transfer window bringing in Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Eduardo Mendy and Sarr.

With just few days before the January transfer window, all eyes will be on the Blues who are eager to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.

The Blues are continuing to be linked with potential new additions, especially West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, who was linked with a return to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer.

Declan Rice has also not been shy in speaking about a potential move out of West Ham and with Marina Granovskaia known for going any length to get the club a player, Rice might be wearing Chelsea jersey anytime soon.

West Ham are not anticipated to part with Declan Rice easily, with the London Stadium outfit understood to value the England international at somewhere in the region of £80million.

According to reports circulating in the national media, the Blues have already set about preparing for departures in the New Year, with out-of-favour centre-back Fiyako Tomori facing an exit.

Tomori has confident of landing Chelsea’s first January transfer deal as he is rumoured to be making a loan move to Premier League newcomers, Leeds United.
