Marina Granovskaia set to allow Chelsea player leave in January. Good decision?

According to Daily Express, Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia will allow Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri to leave the club in the January transfer window.

Emerson has struggled to nail down a starting spot since joining the Blues from Roma in January 2018 and has made just three appearances so far this season for Chelsea. None of those appearances have come in the Premier League.

Marcos Alonso’s Chelsea future is also uncertain following a reported bust-up with Chelsea boss Frank Lampard at half time of the 3-3 draw with West Brom in September.

Despite Alonso’s future at the club looking unclear, Chelsea are still willing to let Emerson leave, according to Daily Express.

Italian club Napoli are reportedly interested in signing Emerson in January.
