‘Maybe another trophy’ – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told why Chelsea are title favorites than Manchester united

The race for the Premier League title this season is the biggest it has ever been as four top clubs are ready to have a go at the title this season.

However, Chelsea has been told they are too strong for Manchester United

Manchester United’s signing of Cristiano Ronaldo has lifted the Old Trafford outfit, but they seem to have struggled in recent games.

Meanwhile, ex Manchester City star doesn’t see United as capable of winning the league this season. Richards is tipping the trio of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City to fight for the title and he admitted that United can’t win anything with Fred and former Blue Nemanja Matic in their midfield.

Micah Richards said on the BBC Sport podcast: “When you get the players who come in and you’re just like; ‘Wow’. If they are going to win a league or another trophy, it’s going to be in these next two years, even though I don’t think they will.

“Chelsea are too strong, Liverpool with [Virgil] van Dijk back. I don’t think they are going to win, but I think they will come close. The longevity of winning a league; 38 games. I can’t see it.

“You’re talking about Fred and [Nemanja] Matic in that position. [Scott] McTominay has been injured. [Paul] Pogba is better going forward. We’re talking about defensively.”

He then added: “[Raphael] Varane is quality and the whole back-line is superb. It’s just that holding midfield role. I’m not sure.”
