Mendy sends ‘massive message’ to Chelsea players ahead of West Ham clash

Chelsea went on an unbeaten run of 17 games in all competitions, before the Blues bowed to defeats to Everton and Wolves.

Following those losses, Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy took to social media to issue a rallying call to his teammates asking for improvement, so the team can return to winning ways.

The Chelsea goalkeeper wrote on Instagram: “Let’s continue to work hard and get back to our early season results.”

Meanwhile, Mendy has also revealed that he has been working hard to improve his English, so he can communicate properly with his teammates.

“I asked people to help me with the vocabulary used out on the pitch,” he told Chelsea’s official website.

“Everything that I need to help the team. So I picked that up quickly. Now I’m working on everyday English, so that I can have a full conversation with people without a problem.
