‘No… you can stay there’ – as Lukaku urges player not to Join Chelsea linked to Stamford Bridge
According to latest reports, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has told former Inter Milan teammate Lautaro Martinez to snub any potential interest from Chelsea.
However, The Argentina striker has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the past but Lukaku jokingly told striker to remain in Inter Milan instead of joining him at Stamford Bridge.
Lukaku told Sky Italia: “I miss Lautaro Martinez, I could die on the pitch for him since day one I met him,”
“Lautaro Martinez coming here with me at Chelsea in the future?
“No… Lautaro, you can stay in Milan, I’ll be back there (laughs).”
Lukaku’s comments come after he sensational revealed he wants to return to Inter Milan in the near future and is unhappy with his role at Chelsea under Thomas Tuchel.
