Not again! as Tuchel gives worrying update on two Chelsea players after picking up injuries’ in Villa clash
Following Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Aston Villa, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel confirms latest injury update.
However, the likes of N’Golo Kante, Romelu Lukaku, Jorginho, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mateo Kovacic have also been out of the team and only just recently returned from injuries.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has now confirmed that Kante and Thiago Silva have now picked up fresh injuries.
Asked whether Kante and Silva will likely miss Chelsea’s next match with Brighton, Tuchel told reporters: “I guess so. It is only two days [away] so from today until Wednesday is a very short time.
“N’Golo is very painful in exactly the same spot where he had his injury versus Juventus.
“With Thiago it was his hamstring. Hopefully he got out before it became an injury and from there we try to continue and find a new squad and strong squad on Wednesday.”
