Not Rudiger: Chelsea defender keen on to force move to London rivals

According to the ESPN reports, Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma is already planning his exit from Stamford Bridge in the summer amidst reported interest from Tottenham.

The report indicates that the Frenchman’s agents have already started working on trying to get him a move away and that Jose Mourinho would like to take him to Spurs.

The French defender will apparently be available for £25m and it looks like the Blues are willing to let him depart from the club, although it remains to be seen if they would be willing to let him join a direct rival in Spurs.

The Blues have booked their place in the Champions League for next campaign, while the Spurs missed out Europe’s elite competition, however, it is unlikely to impact Zouma’s decision.

If the Blues are happy with letting Zouma depart from the club, then that makes sense if Frank Lampard has decided that he can do better.

However, what The West London club should avoid, if at all possible, is selling him to direct Premier League rivals.

Of course, a lot will depend on interest from elsewhere and what other clubs are ready to offer him, however, player wants to make a switch to the Spurs and work with Jose Mourinho once again.
