‘Operation clear-out’: Tuchel wants these 4 more senior Chelsea players to leave club this summer
It is operation clear-out right now at Chelsea as Thomas Tuchel looks to trim down his squad.
Deals are close to being finalised for a number of players after Tammy Abraham had his move to Roma confirmed officially today.
The likes of Emerson Palmieri and Michy Batshuayi are also looking close to the exit door, but there are 4 others players who we are yet to hear any real solid links for, but Tuchel wants them all out the door before the end of the window in order to trim his squad for this season.
Those players are, according to The Guardian, Davide Zappacosta, Danny Drinkwater, Ross Barkley, and Tiemoue Bakayoko, who are all quite senior players now in terms of their age and have all been hanging around in the Chelsea loan army for some time, some of them too long in fact.
We will be hoping to hear more solid links soon.
