‘Pending announcement’: As Player’s Chelsea medical date Change after latest development
Inter striker Romelu Lukaku is coming back to Chelsea, with just the medical left do to on the deal.
Chelsea have been searching for a new big-name striker for the last few months and it has always really been between Erling Haaland of Dortmund, and Romelu Lukaku of Inter Milan.
Lukaku is the man who will be joining Chelsea, pending a medical.
The Belgian international is coming home and gets another chance to make it at Chelsea. This time though, he comes back with much more experience, confidence, and quality.
When are we expecting this to be confirmed?
Well, the reliable David Ornstein of The Athletic reported yesterday that he expects Lukaku to take his medical today in Belgium, and then fly to London either tonight or tomorrow morning. So once that is completed, Chelsea will soon announce him.

However, Italian report Gianluca Di Marzio, who has been on top of this story throughout, suggests that the medical will not happen today, and that it will happen tomorrow.
There could be some confusion of course, but it will happen tomorrow!
