Pirlo tells Chelsea why they should part ways with £27m for ‘complete player‘

January transfer window is around the corner and the Blues will be looking forward to add one or two more players to the present squad.

However, according to latest reports, Chelsea have are have shown interest on the signature of Juventus and France midfielder Adrien Rabiot, just like Newcastle and they have been told they should spend the cash to bring him by Italian legend Andrea Pirlo.

Italian news outlet Calciomercato, have reported that Chelsea are planning to send Saul Niguez back to Atletico Madrid and cancel his loan spell at Stamford Bridge, which is the reason why they are in need of Adrien Rabiot, whose contract with Juventus runs out at the end of the season.

Rabiot, who is valued at £27million on Transfermarkt, has been seen as a cheap bargain for his quality as he seems not to be a part of Juve’s plans, though, with the former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder featuring 11 times for the Italian club in all competitions so far this season.

His former Juve boss Andrea Pirlo was a huge fan of Rabiot and suggested that “He is a complete player, I have rarely seen someone so strong both physically and technically,” Pirlo said to Sky Sports in November of last year

“He doesn’t even know the potential for improvement he can have, and we work on the mental side of things to make him understand that he is a champion. He is improving game after game.”
