Potter told pay £50 million to get midfielder as Chelsea defender sets unwanted record

According to information provided to Chelsea supporters, a bid of £50 million may be sufficient to get the services of Brighton star Moises Caicedo.

The team has already changed managers this season, but things haven’t gone well for them thus far. It is widely anticipated that Graham Potter will make some purchases in the January transfer window.

Caicedo is one of the players who is rumored to be interested in joining the Premier League’s powerhouses.

has improved tremendously for Brighton over the past few seasons, becoming one of the most gifted players in the Premier League. He has been rumored to be on the move to clubs like Chelsea.

The competition to sign the midfielder, who is valued at £50 million, is being won by Chelsea, according to Paddy Kenny. When questioned about whether Graham Potter joining the team may increase their prospects of acquiring Caicedo, Kenny asserted that the Blues are currently in the lead.

He told Football Insider: “Yeah, possibly, that could be a big part of it.

“Chelsea may have an advantage there because of Potter. They are both massive clubs and it will be a big decision to make if they both put offers in

“It’s whether he wants to be in London where it is warmer and there is nicer weather or up North where it is cold and wet.

“It also has to be the club that he feels is the best fit for him. Potter might give Chelsea the upper hand because he knows him and has already signed him once before.

“It’s one to look out for.“

Chelsea defender Ethan Ampadu has set an unwanted record in the Italian Serie A.

The 22-year-old centre-back joined Serie A side Spezia on a season-long loan deal.

Ampadu who’s highly rated in Wales had played on loan in the Serie A last season with Venezia.

The Chelsea loanee had a game to forget for Spezia on Sunday as he gave away the fastest penalty in Serie A history during a 4-0 loss to Lazio.

Just 39 seconds into the game, Ampadu fell Ciro Immobile inside the box – which set the record for fastest spot-kick ever conceded in the history of Serie A.

Ampadu was also booked for the challenge, but interestingly, Immobile missed the resulting spot kick.

Nevertheless, Spezia would go on to lose the game 4-0.

Spezia are currently 12th in the Serie A.
