Pundit reacts to Christian Pulisic display as Chelsea beat Aston Villa 2-1

The Blues beat Aston Villa 2-1 at the Villa Park on Sunday, to help the Blues establish a five point gap ahead of Manchester United as the race for top four continues.

Chelsea came from behind to snatch all three points away from home, courtesy of goals from Christian Pulisic and Olivier Giroud.

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante and Blues skipper Cesar Azpilicueta has been singled out for praise following their performances in the game.

Assessing Chelsea’s win over Villa, former Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison told BBC Radio 5 Live: “They were brilliant in the second half.

“Chelsea scored two really good goals. Cesar Azpilicueta was magnificent. N’Golo Kante was all over the pitch too. Frank Lampard has put a desire in the team to score goals.

“It was so hard for Aston Villa when they’re not getting on the ball.

“The two times they switched off were the two times they conceded. They need to create more chances to get out of relegation trouble.”
