Raheem Sterling red card claim, agent gives green light for Chelsea to wrap up £80m summer deal, as Barcelona offer world class Frenchman to Chelsea

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel believes Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling was lucky not to have been sent off for his bad tackle on Timo Werner.

With the game still goalless, Sterling flew into a tackle with his studs up and caught Werner on his knee.

Referee Anthony Taylor only issued a yellow card for the tackle but Tuchel believes it should have been red.

Tuchel said: “I just heard that it was also lucky for Raheem Sterling to be on the field because he had a huge foul against Timo Werner.

“You need these things. I am not here to talk about, I have no reason to talk bad about the referee, they are doing their best and this is how it is.

“I absolutely can admit you need a bit of luck, also with offside decisions and with decisions like this. This will never change.”

Agent gives green light for Chelsea to wrap up £80m summer deal

Agent Jonathan Barnett reveals his client Jack Grealish is happy at Aston Villa, but has admitted that there could be a deal in store for the likes of Chelsea.

Despite the fact that Jorginho has been playing some decent football over the past few weeks, there is still alot of rumours in the media about his long-term future at the London giants.

It is no secret that he has a dream to head back to Italian football, and it is no secret that Juventus are also keen on trying to secure a transfer deal, so the Italian has options if he does decide to leave the club, meaning that we need a new player.

And that has led to constant reports in the media that Grealish is a player that the club are very keen on trying to sign, especially as the midfielder has become one of the most sought after players in the Premier League over the past few months

And amid all the speculation linking the midfielder with a move to The Premier League giants, Barnett has admitted that Grealish is happy at Villa right now, but stopped short of admitting he will stay there in the summer

“He loves Villa, but I think we just have to wait to see how things pan out,” he was quoted on Sky Sports

“At the moment he is a Villa player and he has had no thoughts about anything else.

“We have to do what is best for Jack and for everybody else.”

We have said it before, if the club manage to secure a transfer deal for Grealish, it would be a great move for the player to make

Long-term Chelsea target Samuel Umtiti has been offered to the Premier League by Barcelona.

It is no secret that Barcelona are one of the greatest teams in world football right now and are only a handful of sides that are able to pay massive wages to superstars like Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Antoine Griezmann.

However, it is no secret that Barcelona are a club that are in debt and they will be looking to offload a number of players in the summer transfer window in order to generate some funds in order to sign their own transfer targets.

And according to reports on the Sky Sports website, they no longer wish to keep hold of Umtiti and have offered him to the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, United, Tottenham and Chelsea for a bargain price of just £20 million.

umtiti is rated very highly across Europe and has been linked with a move to the Premier League on many occasions, but he has tried to prove that he has the ability to be a Barcelona player, without really being given a real shot at that chance.

Umtiti may not be playing his best football at Barcelona, but at the right club, he could be a massive signing and if any of the clubs linked do decide to pay £20 million to get a deal done, he would be well worth the money.

We may not need him and would like to see a much more quality player arrive, but he would add some depth to the squad right?
