RECORD BREAKER: Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori breaks Cristiano Ronaldo’s record after scoring against Juventus

Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori scored his first goal for AC Milan in their 3-0 victory at Juventus on Sunday, breaking a Cristiano Ronaldo record in the process.

Tomori smashed Ronaldo’s record for the highest jump to score in Serie A, with defender hitting an incredible height of 8ft 7in for his headed goal against Juventus according to Daily Mail.

Ronaldo, who is 6ft 2in tall, claimed the ‘greatest leap’ crown when he soared up to 8ft 5in against Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium during the 2019-20 campaign.

While that header left Europe stunned, Tomori, who stands at 6ft 1in, has now gone even higher as he towered above Juventus’ Giorgio Chiellini to score from a height of 8ft 7in on Sunday.

Meanwhile, AC Milan are keen on making his stay at the club permanent after impressing on loan since joining from Chelsea in January.

AC Milan have an option in Tomori’s loan deal to make his stay permanent for £25million and AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli insists AC Milan will take up the buy option.

He said: “We want to buy Tomori on a permanent deal from Chelsea. Our intention is clear and also Fikayo’s decision (staying at Milan).

“We’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”
