Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has given the youth to prove themselves in his frst season in charge as a Chelsea manager following recent Chelsea tansfer ban, likes of Tomori, Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and more.
However, Fikayo Tomori’s brilliant strike in Chelsea’s 5-2 victory over Wolves at Molineux back in September has been voted by fans as the 2019/20 Chelsea Goal of the Season.
Tomori’s brilliant goal at Molineux was one of 12 from our men’s, women’s and Academy teams nominated for the award.
Tomori’s long range effort against Wolves was his first-ever goal for Chelsea and it came on his fourth appearance for the Blues, and only his second start in a Blues shirt.
Tomori becomes the first centre-back to be voted as the winner, and the first defender in a decade, since Ashley Cole in 2010.
