Reliable source claims Chelsea have made massive progress to sign quality player ahead of next season

Having been unable to strengthen the squad in the past two transfer windows, Chelsea are keen on making some massive signings ahead of next season to make the team stronger.

The Blues have already secured the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax in a very important position that needs to be strengthened. Also, the left-back role is another key area that needs strengthening, and Chelsea have been linked with highly rated Porto left-back Alex Telles.

Lots of rumours have been going round about Chelsea’s move for Telles and Italian journalist, Nicolo Schira has confirmed via twitter that Chelsea are ‘really interested’ in securing the services of Alex Telles from Porto in the summer and talks are already ongoing between the two clubs.

Portuguese outlet A Bola has revealed earlier in the week that Telles has signalled his intent to leave Porto this summer by rejecting the offer of a lucrative contract extension.

Telles has been a regular for Porto this season, making 32 appearances and scoring eight goals.
