According to former Crystal Palace striker Clinton Morrison, Chelsea can win the Premier League title this season if Marina Granovskaia signs a top goalkeeper for Chelsea boss Frank Lampard.
Kepa Arrizabalaga has struggled since his world record move to Chelsea and the Blues are close to signing Rennes goalkeeper Mendy to provide competition for Kepa.
“Personally, I think they should be challenging with the signings that they’ve made,” Morrison told talkSPORT.
“I do believe if they get a goalkeeper, they will massively be challenging.
“I think that’s where they’re struggling at the moment. That’s not me having a go at Kepa, I just feel when you want to win titles, your goalkeeper has to be excellent.
“You look at Liverpool, Alisson – outstanding. When Man City won it, Ederson – outstanding. So your backline has to be really strong.”
