REPORT: Chelsea have ‘General Agreement’ with £91m rated Serie A defender

According to Pianetazzuro.it, Chelsea have a “general agreement” in place with Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. The Italian website says the Senegalese international could well be on the move to Stamford Bridge if the Blues can stump up the cash.

Meanwhile, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is adamant that the centre-back won’t be sold for less than €100m (£91m) despite the impact of the global health crisis.

So far, despite reported interest from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, no club has been prepared to match the asking price, but Chelsea are said to have a part-exchange option on the table.

Napoli are very keen on signing a striker this summer, and PianetAzzuro claim that the Serie A side have asked about the availability of Tammy Abraham.

However, it is believed that the London club rejected the enquiry as they have no intention of selling the forward, despite the impending arrival of Timo Werner.
