REPORT: Chelsea holding talks with PSG over potential swap deal

According to Don Balon, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are in discussions about a swap deal involving Kepa Arrizabalaga and Keylor Navas.

The Spanish rumour mongers claim that talks have been held regarding a possible part-exchange, although no agreement has been reached at this stage.

PSG are said to be looking for a straight swap between the two goalkeepers; something which the Blues are very much against doing as they believe Kepa is worth a lot more than Navas.

Considering that the Costa Rican international is 33 years of age and would not have much resale value, it is hard to believe that Chelsea would accept such a deal, without PSG also handing over a sizeable amount of cash as well as the former Real Madrid player.

Kepa was signed from Athletic Bilbao for £71.6m two years ago but it is believed that he does not have a future at Stamford Bridge. It would be wise to take this report with a pinch of salt, though, with Don Balon notoriously unreliable when it comes to these type of stories.
