According to reports the Blues set to confirm the signing of Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz, However, another player is set to head to the opposite direction.
According to German media outlet Fussball Transfers, Chelsea’s recent signing Malang Sarr is set to join Bayer Leverkusen as part of the deal for Havertz.
The report claims Bayer Leverkusen asked for Sarr to be included in the deal for Havertz as they are looking for a left-footed centre-back.
The French centre-back, who signed a 5-year deal with the Blues last week, is expected to spend a season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen.
Meanwhile, Havertz has left the German national team camp for London to undergo a medical and sign a long-term contract with Chelsea.
