REPORT: Chelsea set to offer 26-year-old forward to Leeds United

According to reports, Michy Batshuayi has been reportedly offered to Leeds United as they prepare for their return to the Premier League. The 26-year-old Belgian forward looks set to quit Chelsea in a cut-price deal this summer.

According to Get French Football News, Michy’s agent has offered Leeds the chance to snap up his client.

The source states that the club have received “hundreds” of offers from representatives following their promotion from the Championship. Michy is one of the names on the long-list as he plans to revive his career away from Stamford Bridge.

The star has been shipped out on loan to Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Crystal Palace since he signed for the Blues in 2016.

But manager Frank Lampard has made it clear that the Belgium international does not feature in his long-term plans.

Chelsea valued Michy at around £50 million two seasons ago. But reports state the Blues will accept a sum of around £25 million for him this summer as he only has one year left on his contract.

Michy has racked up eight goals and three assists in all competitions this season. Leeds have also allegedly set their sights on Norwich star Emiliano Buendia.
