REPORT: Lampard ready to sell these four Chelsea players

Chelsea set to play there first Premier league game tonight and the Blues will be facing Brighton at 8:15pm tonight.

Meanwhile, According to Daily Star, as many as four Chelsea players could leave the club this month as the Blues seek to raise funds for the transfer of Declan Rice.

Despite signing six players already this summer, and Edouard Mendy set to join from Rennes, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is still keen on signing Rice from West Ham this summer.

Lampard has been told by the Chelsea board that he must sell players to raise funds for the transfer of Rice and the Blues boss reportedly has four players he is ready to sell this summer.

The first on his exit list is Jorginho, who had lost his regular spot in the first-team last season and could suffer as a result of the added competition.

Frenchman Tiemoue Bakayoko is also expected to leave the club. He has reportedly agreed personal terms with AC Milan but the details of the transfer are yet to be thrashed out between Chelsea and AC Milan.

With Rice able to play in defence, Andreas Christensen could be sold this summer to raise funds. Lampard would also love to sell Danny Drinkwater but there would be very few suitors to pick up his £100,000-a-week wages after his disastrous spells on loan to Aston Villa and Burnley.
