According to reports, Chelsea have been strongly linked with a transfer for Brentford winger Said Benrahma but with the Blues already signing Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, there are doubts Chelsea will still be interested in signing Benrahma this summer.
Benrahma has also been linked with a host of Premier League sides this summer, including West Ham, Aston Villa and Arsenal.
Benrahma’s future at Brentford is now in doubt after the winger was left out of Brentford’s matchday squad for their league game against Birmingham City on Saturday.
This comes after Brentford boss Thomas Frank admitted Benrahma could be sold, saying: “If the price is right for [Benrahma] we’re open because that’s the way the club operates.”
The Algerian winger is reportedly interested in joining Chelsea but with lots of attacking talents currently at the club, it is unlikely the Blues will submit a bid for the winger despite the greenlight given by Brentford boss.
