REPORT: Granovskaia makes shock decision to sell Chelsea star For 33.5M before sanctions
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Chelsea managing director Marina Granovskaia was set to sell Armando Broja for €30m (£25m) to €40m (£33.5m) before the club was sanctioned.
However, according to an Italian website, the Albanian international was a target for Napoli, who were sent signals that he was available until the ownership of the Blues became a point of contention.
Broja has had a strong loan spell at Southampton this season, and he has apparently received interest from Arsenal, West Ham, and Napoli, among others.
There have been rumors that manager Thomas Tuchel wants Broja back at Cobham this summer to assess if he wants him in his first-team plans, but it appears Granovskaia had other intentions.
Of all, with a takeover looming, anything may happen. Because Granovskaia’s future at the club is uncertain, fans should not be concerned about the possibility of Broja’s sale for the time being.
