REPORT: Marina Granovskaia tells Lampard the only player Chelsea will sign in January
Ahead of the January transfer window, Chelsea transfer chief Marina Granovskaia has reportedly told Chelsea boss Frank Lampard the player the club will sign.
The likes of Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell and Edouard Mendy all arrived in a summer which saw Chelsea spend over £200million on new players.
According to The Athletic, West Ham midfielder Declan Rice is the only player Granovskaia is willing to sign during the January transfer window.
The versatile England international can play as a holding midfielder or at centre-back and Lampard sees him as the missing piece of the puzzle in his Chelsea project.
