REPORT: Some Chelsea players return to training at Cobham ahead Premier League return

Some of Chelsea’s stars have started to filter back into their Cobham training centre in order to work on their fitness ahead of the planned season restart in June, according to Goal.

However, The training centre has reopened and the club have allowed players to return in social distanced setting.

Some players such as Christian Pulisic, Willian, Pedro, Marcos Alonso, Emerson Palmieri, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Andreas Christensen have to self-isolate for 14 days though under Government rules after returning from abroad last weekend.

Chelsea are issuing hourly slots to players that live close to the training ground as they adhere to strict social distancing guidelines.

They will be monitored at a distance by the clubs medical staff.

The club are awaiting a league-wide meeting on Monday where plans will be released to show exactly what rules must be followed at training as they start to bring more players back in.

It’s good news for the players as they will look to get their match fitness back as soon as possible.
