REPORT: Tuchel receive massive injury problem ahead of Aston Villa clash

The international break is almost done with, and players will start returning to their respective clubs over the coming days.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will get his side ready for some massive games ahead, as the Blues start this weekend with a home game against Aston Villa in the Premier League. Afterwards, Chelsea will start the Champions League campaign with a home game against Zenit St Petersburg.

Chelsea would visit Tottenham on September 19 before an EFL Cup clash with Aston Villa on the 22nd. Chelsea will round up the month of September with massive games against Manchester City and Juventus on the 25th and 29th respectively.

Ahead of the aforementioned games, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will be sweating over the fitness of key midfielder N’Golo Kante.

Kante reported for international duty with France last Monday but subsequently pulled out of the squad for their three World Cup qualifiers.

Kante was also forced off at half time in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool due to an ankle injury.

Chelsea are now monitoring Kante’s ankle problem ahead of the weekend game against Aston Villa.

Kante is a doubt for this weekend, but Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has his mind on the upcoming fixtures, and will definitely be grateful with the signing of Saul Niguez who would provide cover for Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.
