REPORT: Tuchel release four Chelsea players ahead of transfer deadline day

The summer transfer window set to close on Tuesday, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly given four Chelsea players the greenlight to leave the club.

According to Goal, Tuchel have given Malang Sarr, Danny Drinkwater, Ross Barkley and Lewis Baker to leave the club before the end of the transfer window as they aren’t in his plans for the season.

Regardless of whether Chelsea sign new players or not, Tuchel doesn’t see these four players in his plans for the season.

However, Ethan Ampadu has been told that he will remain at the club and will not be able to seek a loan move following Chelsea’s difficulty in signing Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also set to stay at Chelsea if the Blues fail to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.
