Report: Tuchel set to reunite with PSG player at Chelsea to strengthen his attack

According to latest reports Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has reveal he’s set to reunite with Mauro Icardi at Stamford Bridge.

However, this comes as the reports claimed that Blues are interested in signing the Paris Saint-Germain PSG striker next season.

Although the Blues are not short of options down in their attack as they already have Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz but they have not been impressive, especially when it comes to scoring goals.

Most of Chelsea goals this season has come from the midfield, and it would be a good move if Chelsea are able to convince PSG to sell Icardi to them.

The report of Icardi’s link to Chelsea was also confirmed by journalist Ekrem Konur who, in a post via his social media handle, revealed that Tuchel is open to securing a reunion with Icardi, having coached him at PSG.

There are reports that despite being a regular in the PSG squad, Icardi is likely to sign to a new club during one of the next two transfer windows.

During Tuchel’s time as PSG manager, Icardi scored 20 goals in his 34 appearances in all competitions.
