REPORT: Two men finally arrested after what they did to Rudiger during Tottenham clash
In recent report, it was claimed that Tottenham Hotspur fans pelted Antonio Rudiger with lighters at Stamford Bridge this Sunday during the 2-0 defeat.
However, the Independent report has also confirmed that two arrests have been made after the police launched an investigation into Spurs fans throwing objects at Antonio Rudiger during Sunday’s Premier League clash.
The Chelsea defender was hit and showed the objects to the referee. Fortunately, Toni didn’t suffer any damage.
That’s a very quick reaction from the police. The investigation is ongoing as the police are trying to identify more perpetrators.
Objects getting thrown at players by angry fans has become an issue in the Premier League recently, with Aston Villa players Cash and Digne getting hit by a water bottle last weekend.
